Open Day/Open Evening Invitation Letter

To assist our potential new students, parents and carers in making their choice of Secondary School for September 2025, we will be holding our Open Day and Open Evening onThursday 10th October, 2024.

Open Evening

There will be a programme of classroom displays and activities from 5-00pm to 7-00pm, as well as opportunities for you to talk to staff and students about the school.

TwoInformation Sessions will be held at 5-00pm and 7-00pm in the Main Hall, for parents/carers of prospective students for September 2025; both meetings will have the same content and parents/carers should aim to attend one of these meetings over the course of the evening. A large amount of additional information about the school is also contained on our website.

Open Day Tours (Please Book in Advance)

As well as the programme of events for the evening of October 10th, we will also be offering a limited number of places for tours of the school during the school day itself. There will be two tours, one at 9am and one at 10am, on the morning of 10th October, which are for parents/carers of prospective Year 7 students for September 2025 only.

Because numbers for these tours are limited, we ask that only one parent/carer per family attend and that places are booked in advance. To book a place on one of these tours, please call our Reception team on 01332 513219 between 9am on Wednesday 2nd and 4pm on Friday 4th October. Places are on a 'first come first served' basis and bookings for tours will only be taken between the times stated above.

Parking

A one-way system will be in operation during the evening event and visitors should arrive via the Pastures Hill entrance and leave through Fresco Drive. There will be limited parking on site, so if you can avoid arriving by car, this would be advisable.

I do hope you will be able to attend this event and I look forward to meeting you. If I can be of further help, please do not hesitate to contact me.
