Protecting each other

LCS is a place where all students are entitled to feel safe. It’s our duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children within our walls and take action if we feel that children are at risk of harm or missing from education. If you have a concern about a student's safety or about a staff member’s conduct, contact us at any time, even during school holidays.

Belonging to a community

Learning as part of the LCS community helps your child develop their potential, build positive relationships, and achieve a sense of belonging. It also throws up new challenges and feelings, which can be tricky to navigate. That’s why our designated wellbeing coaches are on hand to support students experiencing difficulties with their mental health and wellbeing. No child has to struggle alone at LCS. We’re here to help.

Removing barriers: SEND

All LCS students are valued equally and given every opportunity to achieve their academic and social potential. If your child has a learning difficulty or disability that calls for special educational provision, we help remove barriers to learning, allowing them to become part of the LCS community today while aspiring to a future in which they can cope with challenges independently.

Supporting LCS: Parent Staff Association (PSA)

Our PSA brings together committee members, parents and staff to raise funds for LCS by organising fun events for students to take part in.
The PSA has funded equipment for our new G-Block computer suits, staging and a lighting control desk for the Drama Department, sports kits and trampolines, and more.
There are lots of ways to get involved–why not come along to one of our PSA monthly meetings to find out more?
