This autumn, join one of our amazing extracurricular clubs! From sports like badminton, netball, and dodgeball to creative outlets like craft club, art club, and stagecraft, there's something for everyone. Prefer a relaxed vibe? Check out chess club, quiet room sessions, or even Dungeons & Dragons! Whether you're sharpening your skills, making new friends, or simply having fun, these activities are the perfect way to end your school day. Clubs are open to various year groups and start from September 9th. Get involved and make the most of your school experience
Duke of Edinburgh
The DofE Award is a great opportunity to learn new skills, help with the wider community and to make new friends. Weekly sessions usually run on Wednesday after school, apart from Gold, which is part of the enrichment programme.
Instrumental Music Lessons
8 Instrumental Teachers, accredited by Derbyshire Music Partnership, teach across a broad spectrum of instruments: Brass, Drums, Guitar, Piano + Keyboard, Singing, Strings, and Woodwind
Sports Clubs

Speech and Drama lessons
Does your child have a flair for storytelling, or a passion for the stage? Our Peripatetic Drama & Speech Lessons offer a unique opportunity for young learners to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop essential communication skills.
Careers Library
The Careers Library is open on Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes, offering students a welcoming space to seek support and guidance on all aspects of their career journey

At LCS, we value the personal development of our students as much as their academic development. We aim to provide all students with a range of opportunities for them to demonstrate and improve their personal qualities, as well as rewarding them for these through three stages: bronze, silver and gold.
