Congratulations to our Year 11 students collecting their GCSE results today.
We are very pleased with these results which are comparable to those achieved last year, and better than those from before the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2019. Students continue to make excellent progress at LCS.
79% of students achieved a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
53% of students achieved a Grade 4 or above in the suite of EBacc subjects.
The average Attainment 8 score was 5.4.
These results are a credit to the hard work of students and staff, and the support of parents/carers. We expect the vast majority of students to be able to secure their first choice post-16 choices.
Students can collect results in the Main Hall from 9am on Thursday 22nd August. Results will be available on Go4Schools from 10am.
