The History Department deliver a diverse programme at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. The subject is taught separately in Years 7-9 and is optional at GCSE and A Level.
Our courses cover topics from the early medieval period to the present day, exploring British, American, European and Asian history.
As part of our programme, we also offer a range of field work trips, both in the UK and abroad.
The popularity of the subject means that a significant number of students choose to go on to study History at university each year.
